Lefkes traditional settlement is located at the center of Paros Island at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, surrounded with olive, pine trees, vineyards and old wind mills. Lefkes which was named Yria until 1912, was the first capital of Paros Island during Middle Age and is full of little traditional whitewashed houses, mixed with Venetian architecture; small churches dating from the 15th century, old windmills and beautiful dove cotes. From Lefkes you can reach in 15 minutes top beach destinations like Molos or Kalogeros and still be able to relax when you come back.
